Communication distance between a heavy trucks device and a V2X infrastructure device is up to three kilometers
Communication distance between two heavy trucks is up to two kilometers
V2ROADS builds a robust communication network even in areas without cellular coverage to enable data exchange between heavy trucks and machinery in the Mining, Extraction and Shipment Industries.
Some of the trucks may be used as intermediate data-forwarding gateways to send the information from the source to the destination node. Other trucks and machinery may also have cellular network modems to connect to the back-end over 3G/4G/5G networks.
In the event that workers stray into a heavy machinery area, all of the machines may need to stop to ensure personnel safety. V2ROADS provides workers with V2X safety tags, which can be detected by the vehicles and plant in open areas where the satellite system is available and provide warnings of encroachment or dangerous situations.
The advantage of deploying V2ROADS V2X solutions in this application is as follows:

Such deployment ranges mean that the solution can be effective in widespread environments where multiple vehicle and plant hazards may exist.
